About StrokeFox

StrokeFox shows how to write Japanese, Chinese and Korean characters: an animation of every stroke, numbered frames, tracing with your finger that checks each stroke, and practice sheets you print yourself. Everything is free, with no account and no daily limit on sheets.

What is here

Pages for 245 kanji, 371 Chinese characters and 91 kana, the JLPT and HSK level lists, the Korean alphabet, worksheet makers, blank practice paper and guides. Any other character with stroke data opens in the viewer on the practice page.

Where the data comes from

Stroke order comes from KanjiVG (Japanese) and Make Me a Hanzi (Chinese); readings and words from the EDRDG dictionaries and CC-CEDICT; the 40 hangul letters are our own drawings. Credits lists every source with its license, and Data offers what we changed for download.
