Chinese writing practice sheets
Type Chinese characters, or pick an HSK level, and get a PDF on tian zi ge or mi zi ge grid with the stroke order of every character.
What goes on the sheet
One row per character: the model with its stroke numbers, three tracing copies that fade, then blank squares. A single character gets a page with its whole stroke sequence.
Simplified and traditional
Make Me a Hanzi has strokes for simplified and traditional characters, so 學 works as well as 学. Characters it does not cover are listed before you print.
Grids
Tian zi ge, the cross, is the classroom standard; mi zi ge adds diagonals; plain squares save ink. For empty grids without characters, use tian zi ge paper.
Free, with no limit
The PDF is put together in your browser from open stroke data, so there is no account, no watermark and no daily cap: a whole HSK level or the full JLPT N1 list prints in one file. More makers and blank paper are on the worksheets page.
Sources and licenses of the stroke data are printed in the footer of every sheet and listed on Credits.
