How to write 玩 (wán, “to play”)

玩 (wán), an HSK 1 character, means “to play”, “to have fun” and “to trifle with”. On its own it is an HSK 1 word; it also forms 游玩 (“to amuse oneself”), 开玩笑 (“to play a joke”) and 玩具 (“plaything”). Japanese reads it gan, “play”.
